Auburn, AL
Jordan-Hare Stadium October 4, 2014 Auburn 41 – LSU 7 (ESPN Recap)
Flew to Atlanta, drove west and hit Auburn for a massive SEC showdown under the lights. Tigers Vs. Tigers. Made the trip with a friend and hung with former MAO winner Mal. The weekend was a blast other than BYU’s QB breaking his leg Friday night and losing a ton of money in that GDH game.

Auburn Fast
#5 Auburn ran all over #15 LSU with Cam Artis-Payne and dual-threat QB Nick Marshall. Even Leonard Fournette didn’t do much on the ground for the visitors during this blowout. LSU punted a lot.
Loved the tailgate scene all day before the game. Lots of Alabama hate (not one of the two teams playing in the game). Yelling War Eagle to anyone wearing Auburn colors. War Damn Eagle Baby! Phil wore a Mark Ingram bama jersey and received a lot of “I think you’re lost, boy!”
Caught a piece of the Tiger Walk. Saw the glory rightfully dedicated to Bo Jackson and Cam Newton. Watched the eagle circle the stadium and land at midfield. The video montage before the game was amazing and included the Kick Six. The traditions at Auburn really pump you up. Bo was in the house and the crowd went crazy every time they showed him on the jumbotron.
More likely than not, I’ll be back at Jordan Hare for an Iron Bowl at some point.
