Michigan Stadium September 8, 2018 Michigan 49 – Western Michigan 3 (ESPN Recap)

An iconic stadium to wrap up a lot of Big Ten driving for work this week.

Chicago -> Madison -> West Lafayette -> Ann Arbor.

Felt like I had already been to the Big House based on how many dozens of games I have watched on TV that took place there. It is enormous and does have a larger feel to it than the Horseshoe.

I definitely did not come close to winning my bet of WMU +28 in this one. 35-0 Wolverines at the half and everything was working for them. #22 and #12 Higdon and Evans both had monster games running the ball. My favorite player to watch was #9, Peoples-Jones who caught a bunch of first down throws and returned kicks.

Typical Michigan beat down at home of an inferior opponent. Shea Patterson looked just okay. Rashan Gary never really lived up to the #1 recruit hype at DT.

Attended the game with Ronnie and randomly ran into Skayne walking towards the stadium which was a cool coincidence. Ann Arbor is a great college town and the tailgating was plentiful, but Ronnie is a direct report so had to take it under the speed limit.

Highlight of the game for me was when the crowd was prompted to, and sang along with, Mr. Brightside. One of the best #PublicKillers I have experienced.
