Husky Stadium September 19, 2015 Washington 31 – Utah St 17 (ESPN Recap)

Up in the Pac NW for the first time for work and only the third time ever. Luckily, was able to convince Mike Mess to come with to a Huskies game. The conversation definitely skewed more baseball than college football which was expected.

Non-conference tilt in a game UW was expected to win and won easily. Jake Browning looked sharp (though short) and Myles Gaskin ran with power and agility.

The venue was pretty cool and I could envision a louder scenario if the opponent was someone that Husky nation cared about. Lots of Seahawks fans and Sounders fans (as identified by their jerseys and gear) in the stands which I was not used to. Wanted to see a sea of purple and got a lot of bright green and 12th Man shout outs.

Seattle is pretty far from South Florida (6.5 hour nonstop on JetBlue from FLL to SeaTac), so I am glad to have knocked this one out while on a work trip.

After the game, got to catch up with Jocelyn, Franco, and their young Pablo.

This jeep/flag situation before the game was...different....and annoying.
