East Lansing, MI
Spartan Stadium September 12, 2015 Michigan St 31 – Oregon 28 (ESPN Recap)

The business school trio of Evan, Stephen, and Mike convene in East Lansing, MI for an ESPN College GameDay production of the #7 Ducks coming to play the #5 Spartans. Vernon Adams Jr and Connor Cook in an exciting QB showdown that showed my unpopular Oregon +4.5 bet get there for the cover in the loss. Sort of a win-win for everyone since the home team won too!
Coordinated a brief beer encounter on Friday night with Tony W who was there supporting his Ducks.
Spartan Stadium was rocking and the game featured a ton of 4th down and/or goal line stands which were pivotal in the game. We had goal line seats on the endzone where the action took place and enjoyed clear angles for those rejections.
Made a weekend of it doing Ann Arbor Thursday night which resulted in acting 22 at Rick’s. Friday night we hit an arcade and then a sports bar to catch the Canes beatdown FAU showdown for a big GDH win. While the gambling was good, we started using our oversized playing cards from the arcade prize to gamble on some card games. This attracted some pretty cool MSU alums who joined in on the fun (EDIT: in 2019 while in Jackson Hole, it was discovered through crazy coincidence of showing the picture to another MSU alum that the lead cool MSU alum who gambled with us was Fingeroot… what a legend!).
The Lansing airport was one of the smallest airports I’ve ever flown into or out of. Very convenient for getting to EL. Detroit also works if you need a major airport (though it is closer to Ann Arbor).
