Jacoby's first ever CFB game!
December 2, 2017 FAU 41 – North Texas 17 (ESPN Recap)
I think this game counts as it was a true home game for FAU despite it being the Conference USA Championship Game. I was fully on the Lane Train for this one and Kiffin called some amazing offensive plays to blow out the visiting Mean Green.
Motor Singletary ran all over NT for 164 and 3 tuddies. But it was truly Kiffin in his brilliance keeping NT so off balance the entire game. Running on throwing downs, throwing on running downs, trick plays in the middle of a series for touchdowns. He schooled the other team and had the personnel to pull it off. I sat 5th row midfield and bought a scalped ticket for $5 on the way in.
I want to see FAU start putting together undefeated seasons, become relevant in the Group of Six, and become a Boise St or Western Michigan type name. Revive Lane Kiffin as a coach. Get some media attention to Winning In Paradise.
I also have attended a few Boca Raton Bowls at this stadium. But those do not count.

FAU 41 – UTSA 37 (ESPN Recap)
Rolling to FAU for a 15 minute drive from my house was an awesome feeling. Parked for free illegally somewhere on campus about a half mile from the stadium. There was no tailgate scene, but the stadium at FAU had this awesome vibe to it (despite it being the smallest stadium I have ever been to). It is the size and shape of a tennis stadium, but brand new with great views and video board. This game was a strange one as I bet on UTSA to cover the -4.5 (they only lost by 3 a couple of weeks ago to Arizona). UTSA led the whole game and was covering at four different points, including with 8 minutes left. Before the wheels fell off and FAU scored two touchdowns in the final 4:10 to win the game outright. This included a GW with 20 seconds left. Jaquez Johnson is the man and no one on either team has halfway decent kickoff coverage.
I’ll come back to TheFAU for more games. It’s 3 miles from my office. Especially since I was able to get in for free today as there was a student union or something handing out free tickets just outside the box office near the main entrance.
